Considering the problem of noise, this aspect has been controlled when designing fan coil units. The operating noise of fan coil units is clearly marked in the corresponding technical parameters and is within the acceptable range. Therefore, fan coil units are noisy. I think there are other reasons, not fan coil units.
Fan coil noise can actually be affected by many aspects, such as fan coil installation, fan coil system design, fan coil internal abnormalities, including the choice of air duct, all have certain effects on fan coil noise, which everyone may not know.

Fan coil air ducts are made of many different materials, and the noise generated by air ducts made of different materials is also different. Therefore, air ducts need to be selected according to different requirements for noise in different occasions. For example, glass fiber reinforced plastic air ducts have corrosion resistance and sound absorption function, so the noise is relatively small, while aluminum foil inner wall air ducts not only have no sound absorption function, but also amplify the noise.
In view of the noise problem of fan coil units, there is also a kind of duct material with noise elimination function on the market now. If the noise requirement is especially high, it is recommended to choose this kind of noise elimination duct, but the price is relatively high.
Therefore, when there is a noise problem in the fan coil unit, in addition to the problem of the fan coil unit, it is also necessary to consider whether the noise is generated by the material of the air duct.
