1. Composition of Fan Coil Unit:

Fan coil is the common terminal equipment of air conditioning system. The cooled or heated air is sent into the room through the cold water or hot water coil in the unit to reduce or increase the indoor temperature so as to meet people's comfort needs. It consists of heat exchanger, water pipe, filter, fan, water receiving plate, exhaust valve, bracket and other components.

2. Working Principle of Fan Coil Unit:

The air in the room or outdoor of the unit is continuously recirculated, so that the air is cooled (heated) after passing through the cold water (hot water) coil to keep the room temperature constant.  Usually, fresh air is sent into the room after being processed by the fresh air unit to meet the demand of fresh air volume in the air-conditioned room.

3. Types and models of fan coil units:

Fan coil units can be divided into five types according to their forms: horizontal concealed fan coil units, horizontal exposed fan coil units, vertical concealed fan coil units, vertical exposed fan coil units, and cassette fan coil units.

According to the number of tubes, they can be divided into two rows and three rows.
The rows mentioned by fan coil units refer to the number of rows of copper tubes for fan coil surface coolers. Generally, two rows are two rows of copper tubes, with 8 tubes in each row, totaling 16 copper tubes.  Three rows are three rows of copper tubes, each row has 8 tubes, totaling 24 tubes.

According to the standard, it can be divided into two controls and four controls.
Two controls: common fan coil units use cold water for cooling in summer and hot water for heating in winter.  Four regulations: it is mostly used in some luxurious places and can use cold water and hot water at the same time, that is, some rooms can be cooled and some rooms can be heated according to needs.
