Fan coil unit (FCU) is a common terminal equipment of air conditioning system. The cooling or heating air is sent into the room by the cold water or hot water coil in the unit, so as to reduce or increase the indoor temperature, so as to meet people's comfort needs. Composition of fan coil unit: it is composed of heat exchanger, water pipe, filter, fan, water tray, exhaust valve, bracket and other components. Working principle of fan coil unit: the air in the room or outdoor is continuously recycled in the unit, so that the air is cooled (heated) after passing through the cold water (hot water) coil to keep the room temperature constant. Usually, the fresh air is sent into the room after being treated by the fresh air unit to meet the demand of fresh air volume in the air-conditioned room.
Types and models of fan coil units: fan coil units can be divided into horizontal installation, horizontal surface installation, vertical concealed installation, vertical surface installation, card type and general surface installation. According to whether there is condensate pump can be divided into ordinary type and luxury type. According to the number of tubes, it can be divided into two rows and three rows. Note: the several rows of fan coil refer to the number of copper pipes of surface cooler of fan coil unit. Generally, the two rows are two rows of copper pipes, with 8 in each row and 16 copper pipes in total; the three rows refer to three rows of copper pipes, 8 in each row, with a total of 24 copper pipes. The more copper tubes, the better the cooling effect. According to the system, it can be divided into two control and four control. Two pipe: cooling with cold water in summer and heating by hot water in winter. Four control: it is mostly used in some luxurious places, where cold water and hot water can be used at the same time, that is, some rooms can be cooled and some rooms can be heated according to the needs.
