Causes and solutions of water leakage in fan coil units:

2. If water leaks in the water collecting tray, it means that the condensate pipe of the fan coil unit is not smooth and the condensate overflows. We only need to dredge the condensate pipe. Prepare a plastic pipe with a length of 4~5 meters, one end of which is inserted into the condensate drain pipe, and the other end is connected to the toilet faucet (a small joint can be made and screwed on the faucet by threads). Use the pressure of water to dredge the pipe or purge it with a carbon dioxide cylinder.
Attention should be paid to the frequent blockage of condensate pipes in fan coil units, which is mainly due to the existence of water in fan coil units and the suitable temperature, which can easily make algae multiply and grow, produce gelatinous and slippery extremely thick residues, and block condensate pipes. It is suggested that algae-killing drugs should be placed in the water collecting tray of fan coil to reduce its harm.
3. If the condensate drain pipe of the fan coil unit of central air conditioner is always blocked, water will often leak from above. Once blocked, there will be a lot of biological sludge, which is dirty. In addition to regular cleaning, it is recommended to carry out systematic and thorough washing and descaling, and check whether the fan coil air return outlet is equipped with a filter screen and whether the installation slope of the pipeline meets the requirements.
Of course, cleaning is a temporary solution. Condensed water of fan coil is often blocked because there is too much dust in the place where the equipment is located, and the drip tray is often polluted. In fact, the biological scale is basically environmental dirt. Besides cleaning, the maintenance of equipment is the most important.
