What are the common problems encountered by fan coil units during testing?
1. As there is no requirement for the proportion of the third-gear air volume of fan coil units in the previous standards, the static pressure in the national standard requires the units to specify the static pressure value for the third-gear air volume. In the selection of motors, the proportion of third-gear air volume has not been adjusted properly. Some fan coil units and even the third-gear air volume have almost no difference. Some high and middle-gear air volumes have not been opened or the low-gear air volume is too small. These do not meet the requirements of users.
2. In order to meet the air volume requirement when the outlet static pressure is 12Pa, the power of the motor is simply increased, resulting in the air volume reaching the target but the cooling capacity not reaching the rated value.
3. Some fan coil units did not improve the surface cooler in order to reach the standard of cooling capacity, and the air volume exceeded the standard requirements too much, resulting in the noise value far greater than the standard specified value, which is quite common.
4. If inferior motor is selected, when detecting the noise of the unit with static pressure requirements, the motor will roar.
5. The size of the wind wheel selected by the fan coil unit is too large or too small to meet the static pressure requirements, especially the selection of the impeller of the small air volume unit should be more cautious.
