Compared with centralized air conditioning system, fan coil unit system has no strong wind tunnel. As long as the water pipe and smaller new air pipe are convenient to arrange and install, occupy less building space, adjust well independently, etc., it is widely used in comfort air conditioning which requires low accuracy of temperature and humidity, many rooms, small rooms and needs to be controlled independently. When the unit is installed, the inlet and outlet pipes shall be equipped with valves to adjust the water quantity. Water filter shall be installed in the main inlet pipe. Pipes and valves shall be well insulated to avoid condensation. Vibration reduction measures should be taken for the unit equipment, and vibration reduction hook should be selected. The components of air pipe and water pipe connected with the unit shall not be accepted by the fan coil unit manufacturer. When butting the inlet and outlet pipes, pressure must not be imposed on the water head of the surface cooler. Hoses must be connected to avoid water leakage caused by damage to the surface cooler. During horizontal hoisting, the unit shall be kept horizontal or the drain pipe side shall be slightly lower to facilitate drainage. The drain pipe may be a plastic pipe and shall not be flattened, bent or have a slope that meets the requirements.
When the air volume of fan coil unit increases, the head-on wind speed of the fan coil increases, the heat transfer coefficient on the wind side increases, and the total heat transfer coefficient also increases, thus increasing the refrigerating capacity. Excessive air volume will not only increase the air side resistance and increase the power consumption of the motor, but also take away the condensed water from the outside of the fan coil unit, forming water droplets at the air supply grid. The corresponding air volume is the high-grade air volume of the fan coil unit. Similar to the change of water volumeof the fan coil, the change of air volume is faster than the change of cooling capacity.
