Introduction to the exhibition

Kazakhstan's HVAC Water Supply Exhibition AQUA THERM is held in different pavilions at the same time as Kazakhstan's Almaty International Autumn Building Materials Station. Both exhibitions are hosted by ITE Group, the world's second largest exhibition company. It is the most influential comprehensive building materials/HVAC exhibition in Kazakhstan. It is held twice a year, in Astana in spring and in Almaty in autumn.
A total of 329 exhibitors from 24 countries participated in the fall 2016 exhibition, attracting 9,115 professional audiences and buyers from all over the world, with an exhibition area of nearly 4,431 square meters.  Chinese enterprises have been participating in the exhibition since 2006, and now many enterprises have participated in it for several years. In 2016, in our return visit to Chinese exhibitors, more than 95% of the exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the effect of the exhibition. According to the exhibitors, the effect of floor and ceramic tiles was particularly outstanding. Meanwhile, heating products were also favored by local buyers, and 80% of the exhibitors said they would continue to participate in the exhibition next year.

Market analysis

Kazakhstan is a country spanning Europe and Asia. Its territory includes the north of Central Asia and the southeast of Eastern Europe. The part west of ural river belongs to Europe. Its territory is larger than the whole of Western Europe.  Kazakhstan is a middle-income and high-income country with rich natural resources and a solid industrial base.  It is one of the world's major food exporters, the second largest economy in the Commonwealth of Independent States after Russia. It is also a fast-growing country in the Commonwealth of Independent States. It is also a developing emerging economy in the world and one of the fast-growing countries in the world.  Some people's forecast of Kazakhstan's economic and social development from 2014 to 2018: Kazakhstan's economic growth rate will remain in the range of 6.0%-7.1% from 2014 to 2018.  Per capita GDP grew by 12% in nominal terms and reached 23,674 US dollars in 2018.

Kazakhstan's economy will continue to develop under the conditions of slow international economic growth and gradual recovery of energy demand.  At the same time, Kazakhstan's economy will enter a period of rapid growth as the government increases investment in domestic infrastructure construction and meets residents' needs.  The "New Investment Law" promulgated by Kazakhstan stipulates that the state encourages investment in priority investment areas through preferential policies and government authorized agencies, including national infrastructure construction, building materials, heating and ventilation, household decoration ceramics, sanitary ware and furniture, etc.  At present, Kazakhstan's building materials market is still in the primary stage of development, with medium and low-grade products as the main products and mostly imported products.  Retail prices of building materials are very high. For example, the prices of sanitary ware, floor tiles and other decoration materials are 2 to 4 times higher than those of similar products in China.  Because China's building materials products have the characteristics of high quality and low price, which are very suitable for Kazakhstan's market needs, they have become the first choice for Kazakhstan's building materials market.  At the same time, Kazakhstan also hopes and encourages powerful Chinese enterprises to invest in local factories.
