Precautions for Use of Fan Coil Units
Details
1. Indoor fan coil units shall be installed horizontally.  With diameter Φ10mm derrick hoisting, derrick antirust processing, and the internal machine fixed nut fastening is not loose.

2. The hoisting position shall meet the requirements of indoor air circulation and drawings, and there shall be a certain distance between the hoisting position and the floor slab.

3. The hydrostatic test pressure is 0.6Mpa, and there is no leakage for 2 hours.

4, the pipeline must be insulated, insulation layer thickness of 20mm, condensed water pipe insulation layer thickness of 10mm, fixed with U card or other ways, the compression of insulation material is not more than 2 to 3 mm ..

5, fan coil condensate pipeline to maintain a certain slope, for natural drainage fan coil drainage outlet slope of not less than 1%, to ensure smooth drainage.  The full water test does not leak water, and the drainage test does not store water.

6, when the ceiling height is more than 3 meters, should not choose smallpox card model.  The ceiling is too high to use smallpox machine. The warm air cannot blow down, which affects the heating effect.

7. Hose connection shall be applied between condensate water pipe and fan coil unit.  Vibration generated during the operation of the unit without hose connection will lead to water pipes falling off and leaking, pipeline vibration cracking, noise and other faults.

8. When the height of the room exceeds 3 meters, it is not appropriate to use the air outlet of the top air diffuser, and the lower air outlet of the double-layer louver air outlet should be used.  Warm wind cannot blow down in winter, affecting the heating effect.

9, indoor air flow organization should be reasonable, to avoid air short circuit, open circuit.  The short circuit mainly points out that the arrangement of the air outlet and the air return outlet is unreasonable, and the air supply returns to the unit through the air return outlet before reaching the range of human activities.  Open circuit mainly indicates that the return air is not in the same air conditioning area or the outlet air cannot reach the air conditioning area. Short circuit and open circuit will seriously affect the cooling and heating effects.

10, fan coil must be installed back to the bellows.  Without return bellows, indoor air in the air conditioning area cannot circulate effectively, resulting in poor cooling and heating effects.

11. The dimensions and materials of air outlet, air return and air duct conform to the specification requirements.  Too small tuyeres and air ducts will inevitably lead to high wind speed or insufficient air volume, resulting in noise and poor cooling and heating results.  Generally, the size of the air outlet is determined by the wind speed of the air outlet not more than 2m/s, and the size of the air return is determined by the wind speed of the air return not more than 1.5m/s.

12. Soft connections such as canvas must be used between the air duct and the air outlet.  If it is not a soft connection, the vibration of the unit during operation will be transmitted along the air duct, resulting in vibration noise.

13, fan coil and water pipe connection must use stainless steel soft tube.  It can prevent the vibration of the unit from being transmitted to the water pipe during operation, and reduce the noise, pipe vibration loosening, cracking, water leakage and other faults.

14. The installation of the flexible pipe connecting the fan coil and the water pipe must be horizontal and direct, and shall not be bent.  Because when the flexible pipe bends excessively, the weak part will lead to cracking and water leakage.

15. When the water pipe is connected to the fan coil, a "Y" filter should be installed on the water inlet pipe.  Prevent impurities and stolen goods in the water system from entering the fan coil to damage and block the heat exchanger.

16. When installing an electric two-way valve in a system with energy saving requirements, it must be installed on the return pipe.  Ensure the normal water flow required by fan coil units.

17, fan coil units must be safely grounded.  No safe grounding is easy to cause electric shock accidents.

18, the power cord specifications must conform to the requirements of the unit.  The power cord specification does not meet the requirements. The unit cannot operate normally. The power cord burns down and even causes a fire accident.

19. One control switch can only control one fan coil, and it is not allowed to control multiple fan coils at the same time.  One control switch controls multiple fan coils at the same time, which will cause the fan coil motor to burn out.
