Use and Installation of Air Conditioning Fan Coil Unit in Central Water System
Details
As a terminal device of central air conditioning system, central water system air conditioning fan coil unit is widely used in residential, office, hotel, hospital and other places due to its compact structure, flexible layout and easy independent control.
The central water system air conditioning fan coil unit consists of two parts: speed regulating fan and heat exchange coil. The fan coil unit is generally composed of forward-leaning blades and low-noise motor, and generally has three wind speeds.  The central water system air conditioning fan coil is a high-efficiency fin heat exchanger, which is formed by high-pressure expansion of red copper tubes and hydrophilic aluminum fins. It is a component for cooling and heating air, as well as accessories such as condensate pan and air filter.

In order to avoid this kind of phenomenon of fan coil unit, attention should be paid in the construction process:

1) Central water system air conditioning fan coil unit adopts vibration damping support and hanger to install fan coil unit;

2) Pay attention to that the fixing points at each joint of the fan coil must be firm. The fan coil unit of the central water system air conditioner shall avoid looseness and falling objects during use.  During the operation and maintenance phase of fan coil units, check and clean up frequently, pay attention to the temperature of the motor and shaft, and often oil and lubricate the bearings.

Most of these failures occur in fan coil unit supply and return systems.  First check whether the water supply temperature is normal and the water quantity is normal.  If the temperature difference between the supply and return pipe is large, it is mostly caused by blockage of the inlet filter of the fan coil unit or air in the fan coil unit pipe.  The central water system air conditioning fan coil unit will slow down due to pipe blockage or gas storage, the time flowing through the fan coil unit will become longer, heat exchange will be sufficient, and the temperature difference between the supply and return water will become larger.
In order to avoid such failures of fan coil units, sharp bends, slag storage points and gas gathering points should be avoided as much as possible during the construction process. Although the specification requires that exhaust valves and blow-off valves should be set at the high point and low point of the central water system air conditioning fan coil units, the construction site is often difficult to realize, and careful construction must be planned in advance.  Flush and drain as much as possible after installing fan coil units.
The central water system air conditioning fan coil unit should be cleaned frequently during operation to keep the pipeline unblocked.
