What are the common faults of fan coil units? How should it be solved?(II)
Details
Fault 7. Water leakage
Cause of occurrence:
1. Poor installation
2. The water receiving tray is inclined
3. The drain is blocked
4. Water pipes have leaks
5. Condensed water drips from the pipe
6. Poor installation at the joint
7. The exhaust valve forgot to close
Exclusion method:
1. Horizontal installation of the unit
2. Adjustment
3. Remove the blockage
4. Check and replace the water pipe
5. Check the re-insulation
6. Fasten after inspection
7. Close the valve

Fault 8. After shutdown, the fan does not stop
Cause of occurrence:
1. switch failure
2. Short circuit of control line
Exclusion method:
1. repair or replace the switch
2. Check the circuit and eliminate short circuit

Fault 9. Vibration and noise
Cause of occurrence:
1. the unit is poorly installed
2. Improper installation of the shell
3. The fixed fan is not loose
4. There are foreign bodies in the wind path
5. Fan motor failure
6. The fan blades are damaged
7. The louvers at the air supply outlet are loose
8. There is air in the coil
9. Frozen water (hot water) flows too fast
10. There is a large amount of air entering the water
11. when using the quantitative valve, the differential pressure is too large
Exclusion method:
1. Reinstall and adjust
2. Reinstall
3. Fastening
4. Remove foreign matter
5. Repair or replace the motor
6. Replace
7. Fastening
8. Exhaust air
9. Check the flow rate of water
10. Remove air from water
11. replace the appropriate valve
Fault 10. Poor effect of cold air (hot air)
Cause of occurrence:
1. the opening of regulating valve is not enough
2. The coil is blocked and poorly ventilated
3. There is air in the coil
4. The power supply voltage drops
5. The air filter is blocked
6. Insufficient water supply (cold and hot water)
7. Abnormal water supply temperature
8. Fan reversal
9. The air supply outlet and air return outlet are obstructed
10. The front panel is not installed properly
11. short circuit of airflow
12. Uneven distribution of indoor wind
13. Improper selection of equipment
14. air leakage from the connection of ceiling-mounted units
15. Improper temperature adjustment
16. Sunshine or window opening in the room
Exclusion method:
1. readjust the opening
2. Clean the coil
3. Exhaust air
4. Find out the reason
5. Clean the air filter
6. Adjust the water supply valve
7. Check the temperature of chilled water (or hot water)
8. Reconnect the wiring
9. Remove obstacles
10. Regular installation
11. check whether there is any obstacle on the tuyere
12. Check and adjust the tuyere
13. redesign and selection
14. repair
15. readjust the air supply grade
16. Close the window and hang the curtains
