Fan coil unit is the most important terminal equipment in the central air-conditioning system and also the important indoor equipment of the central air-conditioning. The installation of fan coil unit directly affects the comfort and aesthetics of the central air-conditioning. In order to better ensure these two points, the installation of fan coil unit also has certain technical requirements.
Eight Technical Requirements for Fan Coil Unit Installation:
1. Before installing the fan coil unit, it is necessary to carry out corresponding tests on the unit's three-speed adjustment function, water pressure, etc., and check the internal structure of the unit's external shape to ensure its integrity and completeness.
2.  Water pressure test, the water pressure must be 1.5 times the working pressure, pay attention to observe the pipeline without leakage
3. When installing the fcu, especially when hoisting the horizontal concealed fcu, be careful not to put your hand into the volute, at the same time ensure the accuracy of the hoisting position of the unit, and ensure the hoisting stability of the fcu. In order to facilitate the discharge of condensed water, it is better to make a gradient of 0.003 when installing the fcu, and be careful not to reverse the direction of the gradient. In order to ensure the hoisting stability of the fcu, it is recommended to use double nuts to fix the joint between the coil and the hanger rod
4. Horizontal concealed fcu installation, pay attention to the side reserved a certain maintenance space
5. Pay attention to hose connection at the connection between fcu and pipeline
6. Professional tools shall be used when connecting the fan coil unit with the supply and return water pipes, and the condensed water shall be better observed. Transparent plastic hoses with a length of 200mm are recommended for the condensed water pipes
7. For the supply and return valves and filters used in the central air conditioning fcu system, the nearest fcu shall be selected for installation, and all of them shall be installed above the condensate pan.
8. The most important point is that before connecting the fcu with the pipeline, the pipeline must be washed to ensure that there are no impurities.
This is also the most basic requirement for installing fan coil units. If these eight requirements cannot be strictly implemented, there is no guarantee that the fcu will not have noise, vibration, blockage, poor refrigeration and other faults during operation.
