Indonesia's Large Comprehensive HVAC & Refrigeration Exhibition

Indonesia HVAC Indonesia is a large and comprehensive international air conditioning and refrigeration exhibition in Indonesia. It is held annually and is also a long-awaited commercial platform for relevant equipment manufacturers in the world. The exhibition will gather new technologies and products from the industry and provide a commercial platform for manufacturers to display their new technologies.  So far, it has successfully held three sessions and will be presented to the public from October 9 to 11, 2019.  The exhibitors are all leading enterprises in the HVAC industry from all over the world. Not only are international well-known enterprises such as Panasonic and Samsung participating in the exhibition.  It is an excellent opportunity for Chinese enterprises to enter Southeast Asia, exchange experiences, trade contacts, brand promotion and deepen their customer base.  The audience is more than 5,500 professional audiences from all over the world, including Canada, Australia, China, France, Germany, Iceland, India, Japan, Italy, Ireland, Libya, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, United States, etc.  29% of the audience came from the refrigeration industry, 22% from the air conditioning industry and 18% from the central air conditioning equipment industry.  The professionalism of the audience is evident.  However, the exhibition is an indispensable bridgehead for Chinese enterprises to enter Southeast Asia.

Market analysis

Indonesia's Central Bureau of Statistics released a trade report on June 15. From January to May 2017, Indonesia's foreign trade was 130.63 billion US dollars, up 17.9% year-on-year, of which exports were 68.26 billion US dollars, up 19.9% year-on-year, imports were 13.67 billion US dollars, up 11.4% year-on-year, with a cumulative trade surplus of 5.90 billion US dollars.  From January to May 2017, the trade volume of China-Indonesia non-oil and gas products was US$ 21.44 billion, up 25.1% year on year.  Among them, Indonesia exported 7.77 billion US dollars to China, up 59.5% year-on-year, accounting for 12.5% of Indonesia's total exports, ranking first among Indonesia's export destinations.  Indonesia imported US$ 13.67 billion from China, up 11.4% year-on-year, accounting for 26.1% of Indonesia's total imports, ranking first among Indonesia's import sources.

Indonesia is not only ASEAN's large refrigeration and air-conditioning market, but also ASEAN's large refrigeration and air-conditioning production and transit base.  Indonesia's large air conditioning mainframe, small refrigeration units, air conditioning, refrigeration equipment, refrigeration and air conditioning accessories and other products are almost all imported, and the demand is growing at a rate of 15%-20% per year.  Indonesia's refrigeration industry has a poor foundation and is highly dependent on imported products. China's refrigeration and air-conditioning products enter this ASEAN market with potential with brand and price advantages.  Jakarta Special Administrative Region is Indonesia's political center, as well as an economic and commercial center. Manufacturing industry is mostly distributed in West Java, Banten and East Java provinces around Jakarta Special Administrative Region.  These conditions have provided better opportunities for Chinese refrigeration and heating enterprises to enter the Indonesian market.

Scope of exhibits

1. Refrigeration equipment: refrigerator plate production machines, freezers, condensers, industrial and commercial freezers, drinking fountains, ice makers;

2. Refrigeration equipment: centrifugal pump, screw, screw, reciprocating pump and steam absorber;

3. Air conditioning: window air conditioning, split air conditioning, combined air conditioning, roof air conditioning, humidifier, dehumidifier, combined air conditioning unit, evaporation and condensation system; 4. Heating equipment: steam pipes and containers, heat recovery systems, boilers and burners;

5. Ventilation system: air handling unit, fan coil unit, thin steel pipe, heat insulation pipe, ventilation grid, air diffuser, air filter, shock absorber, heat insulation equipment/sound insulation equipment, VAV system, air duct cleaner;

6. Water supply system: cooling tower, pump, water pipe, valve and fittings, variable hydraulic system, water treatment device and chemistry;

7. Building management system: building automatic control system, security system, instruments and meters;

8. Fire fighting management equipment: fire dampers, fire dampers, smoke control and extraction systems, fire alarm systems and fire fighting systems;

9. Yuan accessories: refrigerants, motors, frequency conversion and speed regulation systems, switches, cables and wires, indoor air purifiers, testing and balancing equipment, heat and sound insulation products, shockproof devices, cleaning appliances, compressors and exchangers.
