Problems of Fan Coil Unit
Introduction
What are the problems that fan coils are prone to? Why do these problems occur?
Details
1. The fan coil air volume is small, the cooling effect is poor
Under the normal operation of the fan, air leakage occurs in the air duct except for the small air intake volume. Air leakage in the air duct seldom occurs and is well handled.  However, the small air intake is mostly caused by the blockage of the filter screen at the air return port. The solution is to clean the filter screen frequently. If the cleaning is not timely, dust and sundries will further stick to the coil fins and wind wheel blades, and the fins will be blocked by dirt, which will lead to the reduction of the ventilation capacity of the fan.  Dust will also accumulate on the impeller of the fan, causing the angle of the blades to become smaller, thus reducing the air volume and increasing the fan current.

2. The fan coil unit is noisy in operation, and the noise increases with the high wind speed.
Poor shock absorption measures during installation and construction, resulting in resonance during operation;  Foreign matter in the air duct;  Fan blades are deformed or motor bearings are damaged, resulting in poor dynamic balance.

3. Fan coil motor does not turn
Check whether the power supply at the coil connection is normal. If there is no power output, check whether the power supply is faulty first, and then check whether the speed regulating switch is damaged. If there is power, first send power to check whether there is buzzing and motor heating. If there is, turn the impeller forcibly to see whether it is stuck. If it is not stuck and cannot rotate normally, or if it is turned to a certain angle and stops, it is caused by poor starting performance or large resistance.

4. Fan coil air volume is normal, air supply temperature deviation
Most of these failures occur in coil supply and return systems.  First check whether the water supply temperature is normal and the water quantity is normal.  If the temperature difference between the supply and return pipe is large, it is mostly caused by blockage of the inlet filter or gas in the pipeline.

5. Equipment and pipeline dripping water
In general, the pipeline connected to the coil at the project site has special-shaped pipe fittings such as valves, filters and hoses, which are not easy to keep warm and compact. Moreover, they are often disassembled in daily maintenance, which can easily cause condensed water droplets to leak. In engineering practice, the method of tilting the local supply and return water pipeline to one side of the coil can be adopted to prevent and remedy the leakage.
