The 2020 Tashkent HVAC & Refrigeration Exhibition AQUATHERM TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, was held at UZEXPOCENTRE International Exhibition Center on September 24, 2020. The annual exhibition is a channel for enterprises to enter the Uzbek market.

Market analysis

Uzbekistan is rich in natural resources and is a country with strong economic strength in CIS, which is inferior to Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.  Uzbekistan attaches great importance to the development of building materials industry. With the economic development of Uzbekistan and the increasing number of real estate projects, the market demand for building materials is increasing, and the import volume of building materials is also gradually increasing.  In recent years, Ukraine has imported about 200 million US dollars of building materials annually, including 90 varieties, such as paint, sanitary ware, ceramic tiles, heat insulation materials, welding rods, polymeric pipe fittings, steel, ferrous metal pipe fittings, wood, medium and high density fiberboard, etc.  Statistics show that Uzbekistan's overall economic growth rate is relatively stable, and the GDP growth rate has remained above 7% for many years.

According to new information from the Tashkent HVAC & Refrigeration Exhibition AQUATHERM TASHKENT, Uzbekistan will continue to increase its investment in public infrastructure this year. Uzbekistan plans to invest 570 million US dollars in the construction and renovation of railways, and the electrification level of railways will be increased to 54%.  Modernization of industrial enterprises will be carried out and 132 new industrial projects will be completed.  Uzbekistan's GDP is expected to grow by 8.1% in 2014.  This information is good news for China's foreign trade enterprises. The construction of road facilities and the improvement of logistics efficiency will provide greater convenience for future bilateral trade exchanges, and the business opportunities contained in the Central Asian market will be further developed.  At the same time, the booming construction in Ukraine provides a good opportunity for foreign-funded enterprises to enter the market.
